A heavy work schedule, three babies and a sedentary lifestyle had added over 75 lbs of unwanted weight, so in 2008 Yolanda made a change and began attending group fitness classes. Doing group fitness exercise Yolanda was able to commit in a way she was unable to working out on exercise equipment or DVDS. “In group exercise classes you are among kindred spirits with a common goal - seeking a healthy, active life.” In 2009, Yolanda became certified in BodyStep and discovered Zumba. Yolanda is licensed to teach Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Gold and Zumbatomic. “With Zumba, the music and the moves turn your workout into a PARTY! The hour flies by, you’ve gotten a full body workout and you can’t wait to experience Zumba again.”
